Notifications and communication
How Delegate tells you that something is waiting, which messages it never sends, and what the operator-only Communication screen reads and does not do.

The short answer
Delegate sends no notification to anyone. No email, no push message, no chat message, no WhatsApp, and no invitation message. This page is labelled Planned because a notification workflow for people does not exist yet; what does exist is described below so you do not wait for a message that will never come.
How you find out that something waits for you
Open Delegate and look. Two places collect everything that needs a person:
- Needs my attention, in the sidebar, across all your projects, with a count. Its kinds are: Intake question to answer, Proposed requirement to evaluate, Planned release scope to approve, Agent blocked · decision needed, Agent result to review, Test deployment to verify, Tested version awaiting production approval, Rejected version · correction to authorize, Agent dispatch with unknown outcome, Test publication needs attention and Domain change to review.

"Agents wait until a person answers." Nothing times out into an automatic decision while you are away.
The view does not refresh by itself while it is open. Use Refresh on a project page, or reload.
What is never sent
The Communication screen
Communication appears in the sidebar only for the person who operates the installation. It is about the installation's own provider accounts, not about notifying you. Its heading is "Email, forwarding and WhatsApp.", and it reads when asked: Read the provider accounts.

A credential being present is reported as exactly that: "A credential is configured. That is not the same as permission on the account."
These adapters exist so that a managed application's channels can be inspected. They are not wired to the events of your requests, and enabling them does not make Delegate notify anyone.
